GoAir ties up with IMFF for a unique management film fest in Delhi
Plans special promo for Delhi in-bound passengers
Delhi, September 18, 2007: GoAir, India’s smart fare airline, has tied-up with International Management Film Festival for a unique film fest in India. The key objective of this film festival is to explore the art, science and spirit of creativity at work. This unique film festival based on management films will be held in Delhi on October 3, 2007. International Management Film Festival (IMFF) is very popular as a method of learning & expression. Such films festivals are being organized in various countries across the world. The IMFF in India will be screening "World-Class Management Films" with the objective of enhancing audience interaction.

As part of this association, GoAir will be organizing various in-flight contests on all its Delhi in-bound flights from September 28 onwards. Passengers on these Delhi in-bound flights will stand to win special invitations to the film festival. According to Mr Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir, “Our association with the International Management Film Festival is align to our customer service promise of providing passengers with value additions to enhance their brand experience with GoAir. With the  International Management Film Festival tie-up, we have take the next step to enhance the brand experience for our passengers by expanding the base from in-flight to on-ground.”

International Management Film Festival is a step towards promoting intercultural dialogue and collective work through video documentaries. The festival concept is based on the participatory approach in conceptualizing, developing and disseminating films. Besides the learning theories in vogue today, the International Management Film Festival fulfils the objective of Promoting Learning through Active Interaction.

The film festival will be screening some of the best management films in the world including The 5.75 Questions You Have Been Avoiding, Creativity – Life At Frontier, Halley’s Comet, Freedom Writers, Emmanuels’s Gift, The Strangest Secret, Conversations With God amongst others.

The International Management Film Festival is an international non-profit organization formed with the service objective of sharing knowledge through management films. The films are chosen from a library based on relevance and theme of the festival. Major producers of management films are a part of this network who help in quality control and provide valuable inputs besides academic management of the project. Several world-class management films are screened along with interaction with the audience. The program conducted, is in lines with the international norms defined.

This festival will be held at the Taj Ambassador.

GoAir assigned new Terminal at Mumbai Airport
as passenger traffic flow increases

New Terminal to have 6 six check-in counters

Mumbai, September 6, 2007:The Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd has assigned GoAir a new Terminal. As per these changes, all GoAir passenger arrivals and departures will now take place from the renovated Terminal 1B in Mumbai. This change of terminal for GoAir will be effective from September 18, 2007 onwards.

The terminal change for GoAir has been effected to facilitate smooth passenger traffic flow. The airline has been recording highest load factors during the last few months. GoAir is setting up six check-in counters at the new terminal. The company hopes to speedup customer check-in process with these dedicated check-in counters at Terminal 1B.

With the increase in counters at Terminal 1B, GoAir reiterates its commitment to provide speedy, efficient service to its passengers.  With 6 counters in operation, the Company aims to bring in better efficiencies and quicker response time to service its passengers.

Since January 2007, GoAir has been consistently recording Highest Load factors in the industry. It has been recording an average load factor of 86% achieved through a balanced mix of good on-time performance and consistent quality of customer service coupled with smart fares.
