Celebrate the festive season with attractive promotional offers from GoAir

New Delhi, October 31st, 2008: As the festive season sets in, GoAir, India’s smartest airline, today announced a special offer - ‘Buy 5 Get 1 Free’. The offer will enable customers to get a free ticket against the base fare on booking 5 tickets.

‘Buy 5 Get 1 Free’

  1. Buy 5 Get 1 Free is an offer valid only on Go Save tickets. All customers registered on the GoAir website are eligible to avail this offer. The offer is valid from September 18th 2008 to March 31st 2009 and payments can be made via any bank credit card or by paying cash.

To avail this offer, air travelers can purchase tickets from either of the three sources:

  1. GoAir website
  2. GoAir Airport ticketing counters
  3. GoAir call centre.

‘Winter schedule’
GoAir has increased the number of flights to over 900 in a month in the winter schedule. Currently, the airline operates across 11 destinations through 832 flights for the month of October.

Apart from flying the Mumbai Goa sector daily, the airline has now introduced morning flights connecting the Mumbai-Goa-Delhi sector to and fro on the mornings of every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. In addition to this, GoAir has also introduced two new services in the Cochin and Ahmedabad sector from Mumbai. The initial bookings on these sectors have been substantially high (early booking to the tune of 45%) and GoAir expects it to increase through the holiday season.

Commenting on the launch of Buy 5 Get 1 Free offer, Edgardo Badiali, CEO, GoAir said, “GoAir encourages all its customers to fly smart.   • Even if bought on the same day of departure, the fare for GoComfort can be as low as Rs 6875 (all taxes and surcharge included).

GoAir announces two new services and other promotional offers for the season.

Mumbai October 21, 2008: GoAir, India’s smartest airline celebrates this festive season with a host of promotional offers which include the introduction of two daily services on new sectors for the month of October, induction of a new Airbus A320 aircraft, a “Free Rs. 200 Voucher” offer and the Fly Smart Offer.

Services on new routes
The introduction of the new services in the Cochin sector will enable the passengers to fly to Cochin from Mumbai and Delhi as well as Ahmedabad from Mumbai, making the later, the only morning flight on this sector. The initial bookings on these sectors have been substantially high (early booking to the tune of 45%) and GoAir expects it to increase through the festive season. After flying the Mumbai Goa sector everyday, GoAir has now introduced morning flights connecting the Mumbai-Goa-Delhi sector to and fro. This flight will fly the mornings of every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Induction of new Airbus A320
GoAir has also inducted two brand new Airbus A320 aircraft to the current fleet. They will replace the older aircraft with the new state-of-the art fleet and will improve the efficiency  and comfort level for all GoAir passengers. Further induction is planned in the coming month bringing the average age of the fleet to be the youngest in the industry (approx. 6 months) at the beginning of the FY 2009-2010

“Free Rs. 200 Voucher” offer
GoAir will offer every single flier on the airline a “Free Rs. 200 Voucher” with boarding pass issued at the GoAir check-in counters. This will enable the passengers onboard G8 flights to avail of a Rs 200 voucher. They can then redeem the amount on the next ticket they purchase, within a period of three months. ‘Fly Smart Offer’
The ‘Fly Smart Offer’ will enable the passengers who book tickets on-line, to avail of  a free base fare ticket from GoAir against the purchase of the fifth consecutive ticket during the offer period. Duration of the promotion is till the end of March 09.
