GoAir introduces 2,00,000 tickets with fares as low as Rs. 99/-
 
Mumbai 27th December, 2006: GoAir, India’s leading smart cost carrier kick started its new year celebrations for 2007 by announcing the launch of “Go @ 99”, a unique offering that allows GoAir customers to purchase tickets for as low as Rs. 99/- across 13 Indian destinations. The Go@99 will be on offer from 27th December’06 till 1st Jan’ 07 and passengers booking their travel between January and June can get tickets as low as Rs. 99/-.
 
Commenting on the latest marketing initiative, Mr. Jeh Wadia, Managing Director GoAir said, “GoAir has always innovated and given our passengers the best deals possible like this one and will continue to do so in the coming months. It is important for passengers to realize that the earlier they book, the lower the fares they have to pay. That is why we have offered these fares right upto June 2007 and I hope passengers use this opportunity to buy tickets for their summer holidays at really low fares.”

Mumbai 21st December, 2006: GoAir - India’s Smartest Low Fare Airline announced that it has received CAT-III approval from the DGCA to operate in extreme fog conditions. GoAir’s entire fleet of 7 A320 aircraft have been updated with Cat III systems. This will ensure that ALL the flights into and out of Delhi, Poona, Srinagar, Jammu will have CAT-III pilots flying them.
 
Mr. Jeh Wadia Managing Director, GoAir said, “We have taken all necessary steps to train our pilots and equip our entire fleet of 7 aircraft with the required engineering support to operate under heavy fog conditions. At GoAir, passenger safety and convenience is of utmost priority and the same has resulted in customer delight. The certification asserts that no GoAir passenger will now be affected by fog or bad weather.”

GoAir’s Fog helpline launched
MTNL Toll Free Number (1-800-223-001) goes live on 14th December
 
Mumbai 13th December, 2006: GoAir announced its Fog Helpline to help passengers get flight details and cancellation information due to inclement weather conditions during the winter season. This helpline number 1-800-223-001 is toll free and will go live on the 14th of December, 2006. This is in addition to the already existing outgoing calls and sms that GoAir sends to its customers to inform them on flight delays and cancellations.
 
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Jeh Wadia Managing Director, GoAir said, “Convenience and customer satisfaction has been of prime concern for us and especially in this season where visibility factors affect the punctuality of flights. This helpline will be an added benefit to our passengers to give them complete information on their flight status.”

Titled the “Seat of Fortune” this contest is a simple lucky draw on each of the flights that GoAir operates where 3 lucky winners will be awarded a free return ticket each, on a sector of their choice, valid from 15th Jan 2007 to 31st March 2007. The lucky draw will be conducted on all GoAir flights across all sectors they operate on from the 1st of December onwards and every flight will have 3 lucky winners.
