Experience/ Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline with defence/paramilitary background & BCAS approval is a must.
• The incumbent should have at least 15 – 20 years of relevant experience.
• Should be fully conversant with all aviation security directives and have good liaison with agencies involved with security at all airports in the network.

Job Responsibilities

• Plans and establishes security procedures for company as per BCAS security regulations and restrictions relative to company operations.
• Prepares security manual outlining and establishing measures and procedures for security operations.
• Directs and coordinates activities of personnel in revising or updating security measures due to new or revised regulations.
• May request deviations from restrictive regulations that interfere with normal operations.
• Assist other departments with any security related issues.
• Ensure prevention of passengers and visitors entry for weapons, explosives, or other forbidden articles to prevent articles from being carried into restricted area of air terminal.
• If necessary, escort disruptive individuals off the premises.
• To carry out crowd control inside and outside premises.
• Control unusual circumstances and events during fire, storm, riots and other emergencies.
• Conduct regular Basic AVSEC Courses from time to time.
• Conduct anti hijacking & Bomb Threat Drills for Security Personnel.
