- 25 – 30 years experience of handling flight operations
- The incumbent must have expertise to carry out optimum utilization of scares resources.

Job Responsibilities |
- Formulate crew utilization optimization plans as per CAR (Part J) & AIC, addressing crew Flight & duty time Limitations (FDTL).
- Design and develop cost effective tools for flight operations. Ensure compliance with Government regulations and provisions, safety and operational considerations for Flight Operations.
- Management of Aircraft and Regulatory information & Route Guides.
- Build a team that executes flight operations plan, working closely with the Chief Pilot and base managers (In-Flight).
- Develop a system to audit monthly/quarterly performance, comparing actual vs. plan and analyze costs associated with schedule changes.
- Ensure adequate trained staff for safe operations as per the SLA is with the carrier.
- Conduct performance evaluation exercise as and when due making the staff aware of shortcomings and advise steps for improvements.
- Setting guidelines for the coordination between RAMP, Cargo and OPS control department for smooth loading/unloading process as per safety standards.
- Review and approve operational flight plans taking into account fuel requirements and safety limits.
- Produces and file Flight Plans with ATC.
- Controls the budget and gives feed back to the management.
- Supervises and conducts special studies and surveys necessary for the organization for an effective use of resources and productive capacities.
